TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR INDIVIDUAL RESERVATIONS AT SIX CONTINENTS HOTELS IN COLOMBIA (HOTEL INTERCONTINENTAL CARTAGENA)

AIM

Inform clearly and precisely the terms and conditions of the room reservation purchased with Six Continents Hotels De Colombia SA (Hotel InterContinental Cartagena)

An individual reservation is one that a client made and is not part of a group or a negotiation for more than 09 rooms.

APPLICATION

Terms and conditions applicable to the client who has purchased an individual accommodation reservation at Six Continents Hotels De Colombia SA (Hotel InterContinental Cartagena)

CONCEPTS:

1. Hotel Check-in and Check-out Policy

Your reservation starts at 3:00 pm on the day of arrival and ends at 12:00 pm on the day of departure.

1.2. Accommodation registration card (Register Card)

a. Tourist accommodation service providers must keep a record of guests by completing the accommodation registration card in the system provided by the national government.

b. The accommodation registration card is proof of the accommodation contract.

1.3. Early Check In Policy

a. Subject to availability.

b. If you check in before 6:00 am, you will be charged for the full night's stay, and you will be provided with breakfast if the rate for the following days includes it.

c. If you check in between 6:00 am and 12:00 pm, you will be charged half of the rate purchased for your stay, and you will be provided with breakfast if the rate for the following days does not include it.

1.4. Early Departure Policy

a. Guests must inform the hotel one day in advance of the new departure date if they wish to make an early departure, so that the hotel can make the room available for sale.

b. Failure to provide this information in advance will result in the guest being charged for the corresponding night(s).

c. 100% of unused nights will be charged for group reservations.

1.5. Late Check Out Policy

a. Subject to availability.

b. Late check out until 2:00 p.m. without charge when you are a member of the IHG ONE REWARD loyalty program

c. Late check out between 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. half of the rate acquired during the guest's stay will be charged.

d. Late check out after 7:00 p.m. will be charged the full rate acquired during the guest's stay.

2. ROOM IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (Upselling)

a. Subject to availability

b. The customer will be offered the opportunity to purchase upgrades to their initial reservation, such as a change of view, room category, access to the hotel's club lounge, early check-in or late check-out.

c. The client will accept the additional charge generated by these voluntarily selected improvements.

d. The client will not be able to reverse the purchase of upgrades once he or she has entered his or her room.

3. Cancellation and Modification Policy

a. You may cancel or modify your reservation without penalty if you do so before 3:00 p.m. on the day before your arrival date. Failure to use your reservation or cancel within the stated time period will result in a penalty equal to the value of the first night's accommodation, plus taxes and any additional services booked. This policy does not apply to non-refundable rates.

b. Non-guaranteed reservations will be automatically cancelled 72 hours prior to arrival date.

4. Minor Registration Policy

If you are travelling with children under 18 years of age, it is necessary to present the minor's identification document (civil registry) confirming the relationship of kinship. If the minor is not travelling with his or her parents, a permit authenticated by a Notary will also be required, accompanied by a copy of the identification document of the parents granting the authorization. This documentation is mandatory for the entry of minors to the hotel, in accordance with the provisions of Law 679 of 2001, Statute to Prevent the Sexual Exploitation of Boys, Girls and Adolescents, and related regulations.

5. Anti-corruption and anti-fraud policy

Dishonest conduct or practices that undermine business integrity are not permitted at our hotel. This includes any form of offering or accepting gifts, invitations or other incentives that may influence business or legal decisions. Concealing, altering, falsifying or omitting information for one's own benefit or that of third parties, or participating in conflicts of interest that may affect collective decisions, are also not tolerated. We promote a culture of ethics, transparency and fairness in all our activities.

6. Smoking policy

We are pleased to inform you that our hotel is a SMOKE FREE property. For your health and safety, smoking is not permitted in the rooms. Failure to comply with this rule will result in a charge of COP 2,000,0000 + VAT, which will be reflected in your account.

7. Companion policy

For security reasons, it is mandatory that all our guests register at the reception during the check-in process. The entry of new guests is not permitted once the stay has begun. In compliance with our security policies, InterContinental Cartagena will not allow the registration of additional guests or companions who have not been registered at the time of check-in.

8. Policy on the Prevention of Money Laundering and Financing of Terrorism

Raising awareness and committing to the fight against money laundering and terrorist financing – ML/FT is a priority for us. We are committed to making every effort to prevent our company from being involved in illegal acts, not only out of loyalty, but also out of ethics and legality, in compliance with a policy in accordance with legal standards.

Therefore, the client declares under oath, which is understood to be taken with the signing of the contract, that the resources that make up his/her assets do not come from money laundering, financing of terrorism, drug trafficking, illegal money raising and in general from any illicit activity. Likewise, he/she declares that the resources delivered or that will be delivered as consideration for the services offered by the hotel, come from lawful activity. In order to comply with the above, the client expressly authorizes the hotel to consult the lists, information systems and pertinent databases. In the event of finding any report, the hotel will proceed to advance the corresponding contractual and/or legal actions. The client agrees to carry out all the activities or actions necessary to ensure that its partners, administrators, contractors, clients, suppliers, employees, etc., and/or their resources, are not related to or come from illicit activities, in particular, those stated above.

Any failure to comply with these obligations will result in the legitimate termination of the accommodation contract by the hotel operator.

9. Declaration of Origin and Destination of Funds

The guest declares that the economic and/or physical resources used do not come from nor will they be used for illegal activities as contemplated in the Colombian Penal Code or any regulations that modify or add to it.

10. Authorization for Processing Personal Data

Authorization for the Processing of Personal Data:

The guest authorizes SIX CONTINENTS HOTELS DE COLOMBIA (HOTEL INTERCONTINENTAL CARTAGENA) to process their personal data, which have been provided through various marketing channels such as websites, call centers, among others. The hotel guarantees that personal data will be treated with special care and in accordance with the provisions of Law 1266 of 2008, Law 1581 of 2012, Decree 1377 of 2013 and other regulations that govern the matter. Likewise, the provisions of the Privacy and Personal Data Processing Policies Manual will be followed, which is available for consultation at the following link: https://www.intercartagena.com/privacy-policy

11. Withdrawal Policy

When booking our services through the www.ihg.com portal or directly with the hotel via email or phone, you may exercise your right of withdrawal no later than five business days after confirmation of purchase. It is important to note that withdrawal will not apply for reservations with a check-in date prior to five days.

To request a right of withdrawal, please send an email to reservas.ctgha@ihg.com if you made your purchase through the website, or contact the Reservations Centre if you made your purchase through this channel. The refund will be made without any deductions, by bank deposit in the name of the reservation holder or by reversal to the credit card used for the purchase, depending on the payment method used. This process will be carried out within 30 calendar days from the moment you exercise your right of withdrawal.

12.Reversal Policy

When you book our services through www.ihg.com or the Reservation Center and have used a credit card, debit card or other electronic payment instrument issued by a financial institution domiciled in Colombia as a means of payment, you will have the right to request a reversal in the event of fraud, an unsolicited transaction or a purchased product not received.

13.NO SHOW

When the user of the tourist services fails to comply by not showing up or not using the agreed services, the hotel may demand, at its discretion, payment of 20% of the total price or established rate, or retain the deposit or advance payment previously received from the user, if so agreed.

If you make a reservation through channels other than the hotel or www.ihg.com, and you need to modify or cancel it, you must manage this with the agency or website where you originally made the reservation. The InterContinental Cartagena hotel will not make modifications to reservations that have not been made directly between the client and the hotel.

14. The hotel is a commercial establishment open to the public with restricted access. In this regard, the hotel reserves the right to refuse admission and remain within its facilities.

15. The hotel is not obliged to extend accommodation contracts in the event of unavailability, unless there are exceptional circumstances under the law.

16. In the event of overbooking, the hotel reserves the right to relocate the guest to another hotel establishment of equal or higher category, or to proceed with the full refund of the amount paid for the reservation.

17. The hotel has a closed-circuit television (CCTV) system for security purposes, which means that guests will be recorded in common areas, except in the rooms. The recordings are private and for the exclusive use of the hotel, and guests will not have access to them, unless ordered by a competent judicial authority.

18. Guests are strictly prohibited from making recordings in hotel areas that contain sexual or offensive activities, that ridicule other guests or staff, that affect the reputation of the establishment or that endanger the life or health of any person.

19. Access to pets is prohibited in the hotel, except for those that meet the status of emotional support pets and have the required documentation for this purpose.

By making your reservation, you accept the content of this accommodation contract, including the terms and conditions established by the hotel. It is important to note that these terms and conditions are fully known to the guest, and have been provided through our website.
